Olá leitores e seriadores! Tudo Bem? Em noite de Alicia Keys e Justin Timberlake no Rock in Rio, lá estava eu com a TV ligada na TNT para ver o Emmy Awards 2017, minha time line nas redes sociais era uma mistura de amigos no Rock In Rio ou acompanhando o show da Alicia Keys pela TV e outros vibrando ou se surpreendendo com os vencedores do Emmy.
Com certeza essa noite de Emmy foi marcada com discursos políticos contra Donald Trump, e claro muitas indiretas - bem diretas - para o presidente dos Estados Unidos, e entre os vencedores os grandes destaques foram: The Handmaid’s Tale e Big Little Lies. Ambas séries são adaptações de livros, e essas premiações nos mostraram que é possível sim fazer boas adaptações e que estamos na melhor época para elas. The Handmaid’s Tale, eu não conhecia e me chamou a atenção pela quantidade de indicações ao Emmy, e eu vi essa série meio que desconhecida no Brasil levar nada menos que 6 Emmys - nas categorias principais! -, fiquei bem surpresa e os comentários sobre ela me fizeram colocar ela na frente e essa semana vou começar a assistir! Big Little Lies também arrasou, ganhou 5 prêmios de minissérie e garantiu o primeiro Emmy de Alexander Skarsgard ♥

A Cerimônia foi apresentada por Stephen Colbert, e eu gostei muito de sua apresentação, com piadas bem feitas e aquelas alfinetadas politicas geniais! E tivemos a participação de Sean Spice, antigo porta-voz da Casa Branca que declarou: “Esta será a maior audiência de um Emmy, ponto. Tanto em pessoa como ao redor do mundo”.
